River Clyde Arts is at a crossroads, and we need your help.
We are seeking a new home for the River Clyde Pageant. Time is of the essence. We need to secure a property by March 2026 to ensure this summer’s Pageant can continue.
We love New Glasgow and want to put down roots here. With your help, we can find a place where River Clyde Arts can continue creating transformative art experiences for years to come.
We have investment partners ready to support a purchase. What we need is your eyes, ears, and connections to help us find the right property.

Our Vision
A Cultural Hub for New Glasgow
Imagine a place where art, ecology, and community come together. A rural cultural hub where:
Artists and community creators collaborate across generations
People gather for spectacular performances under the sky
The land becomes a teacher, connecting us to the river, to our broader ecological community, and to each other
Workshops help people of all ages develop new skills and discover their creative potential
Everyone is welcome, and collaborative creativity strengthens our community
We’ve spent ten years building strong relationships within New Glasgow, and we want to continue to support this community’s revitalization with sustainable cultural infrastructure that serves rural PEI for decades to come.
A permanent home would transform what we can offer: year-round programming, artist residencies, community workshops, ecological education, a community garden, gathering spaces for celebration and exchange, and a base from which River Clyde Arts can continue to grow.
What We're Looking For
We're open to either purchasing property or entering into a long-term lease (minimum 4 years, ideally 10+ years).
Even if your property doesn't check every box, we'd love to hear about it. We're creative problem-solvers, and we're open to all possibilities.

Location: Within New Glasgow or a 5-10 minute drive
Size: Minimum 5 acres, ideally 10-20 acres
Landscape: Trees for shade and geographic features suitable for outdoor performance (we love interesting terrain!)
Road Access & Parking: Space to accommodate 100 cars either on-site or nearby

Existing buildings (a barn for workshops or housing for artists)
Access to running water and electricity
Proximity to existing community gathering places

Without a permanent home, we remain vulnerable. Every year spent searching for venues drains resources that could go toward programming, accessibility, and serving our community better.
