Help Us Find Our New Home
River Clyde Arts is at a crossroads, and we need your help.
We are seeking a new home for the River Clyde Pageant. Time is of the essence. We need to secure a property by March 2026 to ensure this summer’s Pageant can continue.
We love New Glasgow and want to put down roots here. With your help, we can find a place where River Clyde Arts can continue creating transformative art experiences for years to come.
We have investment partners ready to support a purchase. What we need is your eyes, ears, and connections to help us find the right property.
CBC News featured our campaign to find a permanent home.
Our Vision
A Cultural Hub for New Glasgow
Imagine a place where art, ecology, and community come together. A rural cultural hub where:
Artists and community creators collaborate across generations
People gather for spectacular performances under the sky
The land becomes a teacher, connecting us to the river, to our broader ecological community, and to each other
Workshops help people of all ages develop new skills and discover their creative potential
Everyone is welcome, and collaborative creativity strengthens our community
We’ve spent ten years building strong relationships within New Glasgow, and we want to continue to support this community’s revitalization with sustainable cultural infrastructure that serves rural PEI for decades to come.
A permanent home would transform what we can offer: year-round programming, artist residencies, community workshops, ecological education, a community garden, gathering spaces for celebration and exchange, and a base from which River Clyde Arts can continue to grow.
What We're Looking For

Why This Matters
Over the past ten years, River Clyde Arts has:
Engaged over 3,500 people annually in our programs
Helped people feel more connected to the environment and to their community
Created lasting friendships and support networks
Provided hundreds of young and emerging artists with mentorship, training, and professional opportunities
Stimulated our local economy with jobs, business partnerships, and shoulder-season events
Without a permanent home, we remain vulnerable. Every year spent searching for venues drains resources that could go toward programming, accessibility, and serving our community better.
With your help, we can change that.
Questions?
What if the property I know about doesn't meet all your criteria?
Tell us anyway! We're flexible and creative. Even if it's not quite right, it might lead us to something that is.
Are you only looking to buy, or would you consider a lease?
Both! We're open to long-term leases (minimum 4 years, ideally 10+) or purchasing property.
I don't know of a specific property, but I want to help. What can I do?
Share this page, talk about our search in your networks, and keep your eyes open. Sometimes the best leads come from casual conversations.
You can also help by making a donation, or sharing your skills, expertise & time with us. Fill out our form to let us know about what you can offer.
What happens if you can't find a property by Spring 2026?
We're committed to finding a solution, but without a secure location, the 2026 River Clyde Pageant would be in jeopardy. That's why we're reaching out now—with the community's help, we're confident we can find our new home.
Every connection matters. Every conversation counts. Every share helps.
