Sharing the Field 2025
River Clyde Arts presents Sharing the Field from October 3-5 in New Glasgow, PEI. This family-friendly celebration of food, music, art and the fall harvest offers something for everyone!
Programming kicks off on Friday, Oct 3 with an outdoor performance of A Beginner’s Guide to the Night Sky, by Nova Scotia’s Villains Theatre. Programming continues on Saturday with free workshops in foraging, stiltwalking, cooking and more. Sunday, Oct 5 is the main festival day, with live music and performances from 2-6pm happening across the grounds of The Mill restaurant. There will be interactive booths and food demos, a community dialogue on oyster fishing, buck-a-shuck oysters and a cash bar, kids activities, and a by-donation farm stand featuring produce contributed by local growers. Sunday’s programming is free to attend!
A hot meal highlighting local foods & flavours from Chef Emily Wells will be available from 3:00-5:45pm on October 5. Meal tickets should be purchased in advance, as there are limited quantities available for purchase on the day-of. The meal is $30, with pay-what-you-can options available.
Sharing the Field happens rain or shine! In the event of rain on Sunday Oct 5, events will move indoors to The Mill.
