Laura Astwood

Laura has been bringing stilting to the River Clyde since 2016. She has a huge enthusiasm for outdoor performance and for stilt magic, which has expressed itself in winter sleigh ride shows at the Caravan Farm Theatre in BC, in 10 years of stilt shows in and around Ottawa, in community performances on a mountain side in Italy, in performances in parks in NYC and Bulgaria and Victoria, and in PEI, with a revolving group of brave and talented people who have been willing to join her in her stilt-passion.  She believes in the transformative power of the act of creation.
