We've found our home base on the River Clyde

We have a ten-year commitment to this land, which gives us stability and the opportunity to build something meaningful here.

After years of growing into the land along the River Clyde, we've found a new home base for River Clyde Arts — right in the heart of New Glasgow.

We have a ten-year commitment to this land, and that means stability, roots, and the chance to build something lasting here. Our search for a home base is over.

For the first time, we have a place to put down roots: room for our year-round workshops, the Pageant, and a growing community of artists, neighbours, and Islanders making things together. The 2026 Pageant will be the first time audiences experience this space, and it's only the beginning of what we're dreaming for this land. Come to the Welcome Picnic on June 27 and dream with us.

Investing in Our Future

Building this future takes more than dreaming. River Clyde Arts plans to finance it through a mix of community bonds, capital donations, and donated time and skills. There are three core ways to support what we're building.

  • Community Bonds

Invest from $1,000, earn interest, and get repaid at maturity, all while your money does cultural and environmental good close to home.

  • Capital Donations

Gifts of $500 and up support our work directly, with recognition that grows alongside your gift. If you're considering a more significant contribution, we'd love to plan it with you.

Reach out to Kristina Lemieux at kristina@ riverclydearts.com and we'll find an approach that fits what matters most to you.

  • Time

Your hands and hard skills can be just as valuable as a cheque.

Community Bonds

A community bond is an interest-bearing loan you make to a non-profit or charity to support a specific project. You earn interest and get repaid, and in the meantime your investment fuels something with real social, cultural, and environmental return. We're exploring this as a way for our community to literally invest in this home.
