Kerr Wells
Ker Wells was a distinguished theatre artist, educator, and co-founder of the River Clyde Pageant. Born on May 31, 1964, in Munich, Germany, he was raised on a sheep farm in Cascumpeque, Prince Edward Island. He graduated from Mount Allison University and the National Theatre School of Canada. Ker co-founded Primus Theatre, performing and teaching across North America and Europe, and later established Number Eleven Theatre in Toronto, creating and directing several original works. He served as an assistant professor at Simon Fraser University’s School for Contemporary Arts, specializing in physical and devised theatre. Ker passed away on August 30, 2019, leaving a lasting legacy in the theatre community.
