Hope Rector

​​Hope Rector is an accomplished seamstress from New Hampshire who is currently living on Prince Edward Island. She started, as many do, as a theater nerd in High school and pursued that to a degree in Costume Construction from the Conservatory of Theater Art, from SUNY Purchase. Through that process, she realized the thing she loves about theater is the collaboration and the ability to create things beyond a single person's wildest imagination through that collaboration. While getting her degree she has had the opportunity to work on several wonderful shows in both a Wardrobe and Construction capacity. Since then she has also completed the Heritage Retrofit Carpentry Program at Holland College, giving her practical knowledge and a deep connection to the island and its history. She loved every second and was thankful for all the wonderful people she met and her experiences. As Wardrobe Supervisor she is beyond excited to be a part of such an amazing project.
